One of the most well-known black tea varieties, Assam comes from an ancient word in the Ahom language, asama, which means “peerless or without comparison.” The first sip of this delightful tea will enchant you with a strong, spice undertone that’s delightful all on its own. From the Mokaibari classic tea gardens where fine teas have been produced for almost 100 years.
